Description
When men (or women) are called up to the Bima [pulpit] to read from the Torah, they are called up by their Hebrew names. The officiator of the service (Gabbai) usually has a scribbled piece of paper which he uses to call each participant for that particular service.

In honor of a special occasion in her family in the synagogue, Shari commissioned the artist to execute this "Aliya card" for that particular occasion and it remains as a beautiful souvenir.
